Yes. HandyPay merchant onboarding is available in Laos through early access. Activation remains subject to business and identity review.

Payment links and QR codes, Recurring subscriptions, Developer API and webhooks, Test mode, WordPress and WooCommerce are available after your account is activated. Shopify is not publicly available yet.

You can create eligible checkouts in LAK, and the default bank payout currency for Laos is LAK. If a customer pays in another supported currency, currency conversion and related fees can apply.

Customers can use eligible credit and debit cards. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods appear automatically when the customer, device, browser, currency, and merchant account qualify.

The first live payout is typically 7 to 14 days after your first successful payment. It can take longer in some countries or for higher-risk businesses. After the first payout, funds generally move on a rolling schedule once they become available. Use the expected arrival date shown for each payout because bank processing and holidays can change the final date.

Have these details ready: Account holder name, SWIFT/BIC code, 12-character bank account number. The bank account must be eligible for payouts and its ownership details must match the information provided during onboarding.

You will normally need business registration information, details for an owner or authorized representative, a government-issued ID, information about what the business sells, and an eligible bank account. Additional documents can be requested during verification.

Merchant activation is subject to identity, business, bank-account, and risk review. Payouts are deposited in LAK. A currency conversion can apply when the customer pays in another currency. Available cards and wallets can vary by customer location, device, browser, currency, and merchant configuration. Instant payouts are not available on the cross-border payout route. Crowdfunding, donation, fund-contribution, and NFT use cases are not supported on cross-border payout accounts. Early-access availability can change, and payouts can be paused while account or banking issues are reviewed. LAK is supported for local settlement, but not for recurring subscription prices at this time. Any account-specific transaction limit or reserve is communicated during review or shown in your account.

HandyPay's published standard price is 4.9% plus US$0.40 per successful transaction, with no setup fee or monthly platform fee. Currency conversion, disputes, refunds, banking, or account-specific charges can apply when relevant.
